Tax Manager / Tax Assistant Manager - Cyprus - Competitive Package
We are helping an established professional services firm expand their Tax team in Cyprus.
This role is focused on reviewing tax compliance work for diverse client portfolios, identifying direct tax opportunities and risks, dealing with tax enquiries and investigations, and preparing transfer pricing studies. You will need to be an excellent tax professional who gets enjoyment from representing clients in tax examinations and providing strategic tax advisory services.
This role offers flexible working hours with Friday afternoons off throughout the year and work from home options in a professional yet friendly environment.
Requirements
-Degree from reputable University with background in law, taxation, accounting, finance, economics, or related field
-Qualified ACA or ACCA required
-Four years of relevant experience in tax practice of audit firm or related consultancy/advisory firm
-Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification would be considered an advantage
-VAT knowledge will be considered an advantage
-Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Tax Law
-Knowledge of EU tax directives and international tax developments
-Experience in Transfer Pricing studies and DAC-6
-Excellent command of Greek and English language both written and oral
-IT literate with excellent analytical and reporting skills
-Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
