Accountant - Cyprus - Competitive Package
Seeking an Accountant with 2-3 years experience and accounting degree for bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and VAT returns in established international professional services firm.
This role is focused on maintaining accounting books for the firm, preparing and posting financial transactions, carrying out bank reconciliations and account analyses, and preparing VAT and VIES returns. You will need to be an excellent accounting professional who gets enjoyment from working with financial data and supporting both internal finance operations and client enquiries.
This role offers flexible working hours with Friday afternoons off throughout the year in a professional yet friendly and supportive environment.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or holder of LCCI Higher Level or studying for ACCA exams
-2-3 years' experience as an Accountant required
-Knowledge of E-Soft software considered an advantage
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
-Excellent command of Greek and English language, both verbal and written
-Hardworking and enthusiastic with career aspirations and interest in further development
-Ambitious and highly committed with strong analytical and technical skills
-Strong interpersonal skills, motivation, and professional discipline
-Excellent communication and team working skills
-Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver high-level results
